Make Ahead Honey Lime Chicken

- 2 lbs chicken tenders
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic salt
- 1 tablespoon peanut oil
- 1 (20 ounce) can pineapple rings
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Directions

1Sprinkle chicken with garlic salt.

2In large skillet brown in oil.

3Drain pineapple and save juice.

4Add one fourth of the pineapple juice to skillet.

5Cover and simmer 6 to 8 minutes until chicken is golden.

6Remove chicken.

7Add honey, lime juice, soy sauce, cornstarch and remainder of pineapple juice.

8Bring to boil.

9Cook and stir until thick and clear, about 1 minute.

10Remove from heat and allow to cool.

11Place chicken, pineapple rings and sauce in freezer bag.

12Label and freeze.

13To serve: Thaw in fridge.

14Heat until sauce is hot and bubbly and chicken is heated through.
