  • 1 pkg. vegetarian loaf mix or 1/2 to 3/4 c. dehydrated beef-style vegetable protein bits
  • 9 lasagna noodles (uncooked)
  • 2 large cans tomato sauce
  • 1 large can chopped tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp. oregano
  • 1 Tbsp. basil
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 c. Mozzarella or soy cheese
  • 1 c. Ricotta or 1/4 c. Parmesan (if desired)
  • 1 pkg. frozen Saucettes

Directions

    Stir 1 cup of hot water into loaf mix.

    Add tomato sauce, tomatoes, oregano, basil and garlic powder.

    Grease or spray a 9 x 12-inch or equivalent baking dish.

    Cover bottom of dish with a thin layer of sauce mixture.

    Arrange 3 noodles on top of sauce. Top with a little sauce and part of cheese mixture.

    Repeat process 2 more times, ending with Mozzarella cheese on top.

    Top with separated frozen Saucettes.

    Cook at 325° for 1 hour.

    Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
