Mama'S Cornbread Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1 (10-inch) pan cornbread (made with yellow cornmeal)
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Pepperidge Farm herb seasoned stuffing mix
  • 2 Tbsp. dried parsley
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cans cream of celery soup
  • broth from baked turkey plus enough water to make 2 qt. (Swanson chicken broth may be used if necessary)
  • 6 eggs

Directions

    Mix crumbled cornbread, stuffing mix, onions, parsley, salt, pepper, celery soup and well beaten eggs together with enough broth to make it rather soupy.

    Bake at 375° to 400° for about an hour or until done and brown.
