Mama'S Refrigerator Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. lukewarm water
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 2 c. hot water
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 6 c. flour

Directions

    In small bowl combine 1/4 cup water, 1 teaspoon sugar and yeast.

    In large mixing bowl mix together melted margarine, hot water, 1/2 cup sugar, salt and eggs.

    Mix together with whisk.

    Add yeast mixture.

    Stir in 4 cups flour and mix well.

    Stir in remaining flour and mix thoroughly, but do not knead.

    Put in large oiled container and refrigerate.

    When ready to bake, roll out dough 1/2-inch thick.

    Spread with melted margarine.

    Cut out with biscuit cutter.

    Let rise in warm place 1 hour.

    Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 400°.

    Dough will keep in refrigerator for several days.
