- 2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. water
- 1/4 c. Crisco
- 1 egg
Directions

1Mix together in a large bowl.

2Set in a warm place covered with a light dish cloth.

3Let rise 1 1/2 hours.

4Roll out on a lightly floured board 3/4-inch thick.

5(You can also roll them into balls and place three balls to a muffin tin for cloverleaf rolls.)

6Cut rolls out with biscuit cutter and place on well-greased pan and let rise for 1 hour.

7Bake in 425° oven until brown.
