  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • dash of red pepper flakes or hot sauce (if desired)
  • 1/2 head or more lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
  • 1/4 c. cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 2 green onions, sliced or about 1/4 c. chopped sweet onion
  • 1 (11 oz.) can Mandarin oranges, drained

Directions

    Combine first 5 ingredients in a jar.

    Shake well.

    Pour over lettuce and other ingredients in a large salad bowl.

    Toss and serve.
