- 1/4 cups Butter, Room Temperature
- 3/4 cups Sugar, Plus 2 Tablespoons For Dusting
- 3 whole Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 1 teaspoon Almond Extract
- 1-1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 2-1/2 cups Flour
- 1/4 cups Walnuts Or Almonds (optional)

11. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat room temperature butter and 3/4 cup sugar until creamy.

22. Add eggs, vanilla and almond extract. Mix well.

33. Add baking powder and flour 1/2 a cup at a time until mixed.

55. Prepare a sheet pan with parchment paper and grease. Pour the dough lengthwise across the pan. Shape into a log by picking up each long end of the parchment paper and rolling the dough into shape.

77. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until bread is starting to brown.

88. Remove bread from the oven. Decrease oven temperature to 275 degrees. Slice bread into 1/2 to 3/4-inch slices and lay slices down on the parchment paper. Bake for another 15 to 20 minutes until brown on both sides, flipping the bread halfway.
