- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts (optional)
Directions

1Stir all items together until just mixed.

2This will make a thick, heavy mixture.

3Pour into a greased loaf pan (5 x 9 x 3-inch).

4Bake at 350° for 45 to 55 minutes.
