- 4 lb. sliced green mango
- 2 Tbsp. chopped garlic
- 1 pkg. currants
- 1 Hawaiian chili pepper
- 1 large chopped onion
- 5 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. finely chopped ginger
- 3 c. vinegar
- 1 pkg. raisins
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. water
Directions

1Cook ginger root and garlic in water for about 1 hour. Combine sugar and vinegar; simmer for 1 hour.

2Add sliced mango and cook until tender.

3Add remaining ingredients and cook until ready. Serve chutney with your favorite meat.
