- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 8 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 1/4 c. chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- salt and pepper
- 1 box (12 shells) manicotti macaroni
- 2 (15 oz.) jars prepared spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Brown beef, onion and garlic.

2Cool.

3Stir in cheese.

4Stir in crumbs, parsley and egg.

5Season to taste.

6Cook manicotti shells according to package directions (don't overcook).

7Stuff shells with meat, handling carefully.

8Spoon 1/2 of spaghetti sauce over bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

9Arrange shells on top of sauce.

10Pour remaining sauce over shells.

11Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

12Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
