Ingredients

  • 2 lb. baking apples, peeled, cored and sliced
  • 2 tsp. flour
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. maple syrup (not the artificial kind)
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 c. oatmeal
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. maple syrup
  • 3/4 c. melted butter
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Mix first 5 ingredients together and put in ungreased glass baking dish (8 x 12-inch) or 9-inch pie plate.

    Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl and spread on top of apple mixture.

    Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.

    Serve warm with cream or ice cream.
