- 5 pounds ham
- 1 cup maple syrup
- 4 tablespoons flour, all-purpose
Directions

1To bake the ham, remove the skin.

2Place ham in a shallow roasting pan.

3Bake in a 325F (160C) oven about 20 minutes per lb.

4When about half done, remove drippings and set aside.

5Pour the maple syrup over the ham; baste every 20 minutes until done.

6Remove from oven.

7Pour off maple-flavoured drippings into a saucepan.

8Add the dripping to previously set aside and heat.

9Thicken with the flour; serve as a sauce.
