  • 4 eggs
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. self-rising flour (do not use all-purpose)
  • 2 Tbsp. maple flavoring
  • 1 1/2 c. Crisco oil
  • 2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 c. coconut (if desired)

Directions

    Mix with spoon.

    Bake in 15 x 7 x 2-inch pan for 45 minutes at 325°.

    Mix eggs, sugar and oil thoroughly.

    Add flour, flavoring and mix well.

    Add pecans.

    Lightly grease pan.

    Do not leave in oven any longer than 45 minutes.
