- 1 c. maple syrup
- 1 egg white
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Boil the syrup without stirring until it reaches 260° on a candy thermometer.

2Remove the syrup from the heat.

3Beat the egg white and salt until it forms very stiff peaks.

4Slowly pour the syrup over the egg white while beating the mixture at the highest speed of an electric mixer.

5Continue beating until the mixture forms soft peaks.

6Stir in the nuts.

7Drop by teaspoons on waxed paper.
