- 1 c. white sugar
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1 c. evaporated milk
- 2 Tbsp. oleo
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Stir over medium heat until sugars are dissolved.

2Continue cooking until soft ball stage.

3Stir well to prevent sticking to pan.

4Remove from heat; cool without stirring for a few minutes. Add nuts and vanilla.

5Pour into a greased 9-inch pan.

6Cool and cut in squares.
