Maple Monkey Bread

Ingredients
- 3/4 c. maple syrup
- 1/3 c. melted butter or margarine
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1 (11 oz.) pkg. refrigerated bread sticks
- 4 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Combine syrup and melted butter in a saucepan and mix well.

3Heat until bubbly.

4Add nuts to this mixture.

5Separate breadsticks by slicing rolled dough in half. Combine the sugar and cinnamon.

6Generously grease a tube pan or a bread pan.

7Pour a small amount of syrup mixture into bottom of pan (enough to cover bottom).

8Dip pieces of dough into remaining syrup mixture, coating well, then roll in the cinnamon sugar and place in the tube pan.

9Pour remaining syrup mixture on top of dough.

10Bake about 35 minutes or until dough is light brown, covering with foil for the last 10 minutes to prevent overbrowning.

11Let stand 1 minute only.

12Invert onto a serving platter.

13Serve warm.
