- 1 c. walnuts
- 1 c. maple syrup
- 1/3 c. butter
Directions

1Toast walnuts by spreading them in a shallow baking pan.

2Bake in a 400° oven for 6 to 8 minutes, stirring frequently until golden brown.

3Heat syrup and butter in medium saucepan on low heat until butter is melted.

4Remove from heat.

5Stir in nuts.

6Cool until slightly thickened.

7Serve over vanilla ice cream.
