  • 3 eggs, well beaten
  • 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1 c. maple or maple syrup
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 Tbsp. butter melted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 unbaked (9-inch) pastry shell

Directions

    Combine first 6 ingredients, mixing well. Sprinkle pecans evenly in pastry shell.

    Pour syrup mixture over pecans.

    Bake at 325° for 45 minutes or until set. Yields 1 (9-inch) pie.
