Maple Pecan Pound Cake

- 1 c. butter
- 3 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 3 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 c. sour cream
- 2 tsp. maple flavoring
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Beat butter and sugar together well.

2Add 6 egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

3Reserve whites for later. Sift together flour with soda.

4Add to butter mixture, alternating with the sour cream, a little at a time.

5Add maple flavoring. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites and then pecans.

6Bake in greased Bundt pan for 1 1/2 hours at 300°.
