Maple Shallot Chicken

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
  • 3/4 tsp salt free garlic pepper seasoning
  • 1/2 cup sliced shallots
  • 3 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar

    Spray large nonstick skillet with cooking spray; heat over medium heat until hot.

    Sprinkle chicken with garlic -pepper seasoning.

    Add chicken and shallots to skillet.

    Cover and cook 8 minutes, turning once.

    Combine syrup and vinegar in a small bowl; add to skillet.

    Cover and cook 2 minutes .

    Remove cover, increase heat to medium-high.

    Cook 2-4 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink in the center.

    Stir sauce and turn chicken once.

    Serve Chicken with sauce.
