Maple Walnut Fudge

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 tablespoons Land O Lakes Butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 (12-ounce) package white baking chips
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons maple flavoring
  • 50 walnut halves or pieces

    Line 13 x 9-inch pan with aluminum foil, extending foil over edges.

    Set aside.

    Combine sugar, evaporated milk, butter and salt in heavy-duty saucepan.

    Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil.

    Boil, stirring constantly, 4-5 minutes.

    Remove from heat.

    Stir in marshmallows, nuts, white baking chips and maple flavoring.

    Stir 1 minute or until marshmallows are melted.

    Pour into prepared baking pan.

    Place nut halves in rows on top of fudge, spacing about 1/2 inch apart.

    Press nuts into fudge.

    Cover; refrigerate until firm.

    Lift fudge out of pan using foil ends.
