Maple Walnut Pound Cake

Ingredients
- 1 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. maple flavoring
- 5 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. chopped California walnuts
Directions

1Cream the butter and sugars until fluffy.

2In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt.

3Beat into butter mixture alternately with combined milk and maple flavoring.

4Beat in eggs one at a time.

5Mix in walnuts.

6Turn into greased 9 or 10-inch tube pan.

7Bake in lower third of 300° oven for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes until tests done.

8Turn out onto rack to cool. Drizzle with Maple Glaze and garnish with walnuts.
