Maple-Walnut Tapioca Pudding

  • 1 egg
  • 2-1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup maple-flavored or pancake syrup
  • 3 Tbsp. MINUTE Tapioca
  • 1 Tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup chopped PLANTERS Walnuts, toasted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Beat egg, milk and syrup in large saucepan with wire whisk until well blended.

    Add tapioca and sugar; mix well.

    Let stand 5 min.

    Bring to full rolling boil on medium heat, stirring constantly.

    Remove from heat.

    Stir in walnuts and vanilla.

    Cool 20 min.

    (Pudding thickens as it cools.)

    Serve warm or chilled.
