Ingredients

  • 13.5 oz. pineapple chunks
  • 16 oz. Brown 'N Serve sausage links
  • 4 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. maple syrup
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/3 c. vinegar
  • 1 large green pepper, cut into bite size pieces
  • 1/2 c. maraschino cherries

Directions

    Drain pineapple; reserve syrup.

    Cut sausage into thirds and brown.

    Blend cornstarch, salt, maple syrup and pineapple syrup, water and vinegar.

    Heat to boil; reduce temperature and simmer until thick.

    Add pineapple, sausage, green pepper and cherries. Heat thoroughly and serve from fondue pot.
