Ingredients
- 2 c. boiling water
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 5 to 5 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. butter flavor shortening
- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 2 beaten eggs
Directions

1Pour boiling water over sugar, salt and shortening.

2Stir and let cool until lukewarm.

3Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water with teaspoon sugar.

4Let stand and work 10 minutes.

5Add yeast, eggs and flour (1 cup at a time) to cooled mixture.

6Beat only until flour is worked into dough.

7Place in greased bowl and tightly cover with foil.

8Should chill at least 12 hours.
