  • 2 sticks margarine or butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 whole eggs
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 small can evaporated milk (2/3 c.)
  • 2 tsp. vanilla or lemon flavoring

Directions

    Cream margarine and vanilla.

    Add sugar, gradually beating all the time.

    Then beat in eggs, one at a time.

    Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with milk.

    Always add flavor first and last.

    Bake in a tube pan at 350° for 1 hour.
