Margret'S Pecan Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. Karo syrup
  • 1 c. Lyle's sugar cane syrup
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 6 eggs, well beaten
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. pecans

Directions

    Combine first six ingredients in saucepan over low heat.

    Stir frequently to avoid burning.

    Cook until bubbling.

    Remove from heat and set aside to cool slightly.

    Spread 3/4 cup over the bottom of each pie shell.

    Pour 1/2 of filling in each pan over the top of the pecans.

    Bake at 350° for the first 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 355° until firm.

    Cool on racks.
