Ingredients
- 6 lb. chuck or round steak
- 1/8 c. bay leaves (6 or 8)
- 1 Tbsp. oregano
- 2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. paprika
- 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. ground red pepper
- 2 oz. chili powder
- 1 Tbsp. cumin
- 1 c. cracker meal
- water to taste
Directions

1Brown the chuck or round steak on medium heat.

2Add the bay leaves, oregano and 2 cups water.

3Boil for 1 hour.

4Pour the water through strainer into cooked chili meat.

5Add the remaining ingredients. Cook 3 hours. May add more chili powder, if wanted.
