Ingredients
- 1/4 c. dry red wine
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 large clove garlic, crushed
- 1 tsp. thyme
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 3 lb. boneless beef sirloin or choice grade chuck, cut in 1 1/2-inch cubes
Directions

1Mix wine, oil, garlic, thyme and pepper in large plastic bag, then add meat.

2Push out air, tie bag securely and turn gently to coat meat.

3Store in bowl; marinate at room temperature for 1 hour (in refrigerator if longer).

4Arrange meat cubes about 1/2 inch apart on skewers.

5Broil in preheated broiler about 3 to 4 inches from heat for 10 to 12 minutes for rare to medium-rare, or until of desired doneness, turning once.

6Serves 8.
