Marinated Broccoli

  • 1 bunch fresh broccoli
  • 1/2 c. cider vinegar
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 tsp. dry onion flakes
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. oil

Directions

    Cut part of stems off of broccoli.

    Peel skins off of stems left on, and cut into flowerets.

    Wash very good.

    Mix vinegar, sugar, celery seed, onion flakes and salt together thoroughly. Add oil and mix well.

    Place broccoli in large Tupperware bowl with cover.

    Cover with dressing.

    Seal well and turn bowl over. Store upside down in refrigerator.

    Turn bowl often.

    This can be made a day or two ahead of time.
