Marinated Carrots

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. carrots
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can tomato soup (undiluted)
  • 1/2 c. Wesson oil
  • 3/4 c. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 c. sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Directions

    Cook and drain carrots.

    Then cut into round slices.

    Mix together all the other ingredients for the marinade.

    Do not cook this mixture.

    Pour marinade over carrots and leave in the refrigerator for 2 or 3 days.

    Then drain sauce and serve.

    The marinade can be saved and re-used.
