- 2 lb. fresh carrots, cleaned and sliced
- 2 medium onions, thinly sliced into rings
- 1 medium green pepper, cut into thin strips
- 1 can condensed tomato soup
- 3/4 c. vinegar
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. Crisco oil
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cook carrots in boiling water with salt, about 8 to 10 minutes.

2Drain, combine with onions and peppers in large bowl. Stir together remaining ingredients.

3Refrigerate several hours. To serve:

4Drain marinade and save.

5Serve carrots in lettuce lined bowl.

6If desired, return leftovers to marinade.

7Marinade can be reused.
