  • 3 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 1/2 cups Popcorn Kernels
  • 3 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 2 Tablespoons Chili Powder

Directions

    Heat the oil in the bottom of a heavy pan over medium heat until warm.

    You can tell that the oil is heated by putting one kernel in and when it pops, the oil is ready.

    Add popcorn kernels to the hot oil and sprinkle sugar in a single layer over the kernels.

    Cover the pan.

    Let the popcorn cook, shaking the pan to keep it from burning.

    When popping slows, remove from heat, lift the lid and mix in the chili powder and salt.

    Serve while still warm and enjoy!
