Marinated Carrots

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. carrots, peeled and diced or sliced
  • 1 (10 oz.) can tomato soup
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. salad oil
  • 3/4 c. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Cook carrots until tender in salted water.

    Drain carrots. Put all other ingredients together in broiler and bring to a boil. Remove from heat.

    Add carrots.

    Store in refrigerator for 24 hours.

    Serve hot or cold.

    They keep well for months in refrigerator.
