Marinated Carrots

  • 2 lb. carrots
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 3/4 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire
  • 1 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 2 stalks celery

Directions

    Slice carrots crosswise and boil until tender; cool and drain. Mix sugar, tomato soup, vinegar, oil, Worcestershire and mustard. Bring to boil.

    Chop onion, bell pepper and celery and mix with carrots.

    Pour hot sauce over mixture and marinate for several days in refrigerator before serving.
