- 1 medium head cabbage, shredded
- 1 medium onion, sliced thin
- 1 bell pepper, sliced thin
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. vinegar
- 3/4 c. salad oil
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 Tbsp. salt
Directions

1Shred cabbage into large bowl.

2Place onion and pepper on top. Sprinkle with sugar.

3Heat vinegar, oil, celery seed, mustard and salt (to just a boil); remove from heat and pour over cabbage mixture.

4Cover and refrigerate overnight.

5Stir, then drain before serving.

6(Will keep in refrigerator for several days.)
