- 1 large head cabbage
- 1 large green pepper
- 3/4 c. salad oil
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 large onion
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. vinegar
- 1 tsp. celery seed
Directions

1Shred cabbage into large bowl.

2Shred or thinly slice onion and pepper on top of cabbage.

3Sprinkle sugar to cover entire top. Do not stir!

4Then bring to a boil the salad oil, vinegar and dry seasonings.

5Pour over other ingredients while hot.

6Do not stir! Refrigerate at least 4 hours; overnight is better.

7Keeps for several days.
