- 1 1/2 cups beer
- 1 3/4 pounds flank steak
- 4 scallions minced
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 pinch ground ginger
Directions

1In large glass bowl, combine all ingredients except steak. Mix well. Add steak, coating it well with marinade. Cover bowl. Refrigerate steak in marinade overnight or up to 3 days (the longer, the spicier), turning occasionally.

2Grill steak on barbecue 5 minutes on each side. Cut in thin slices across grain. Serves 4-6.
