- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 (16 oz.) cans green beans
- 2 medium onions, thinly sliced and separated into rings
Directions

1Combine sugar, vinegar, oil and water in a medium saucepan. Boil for 2 minutes.

2Combine beans and onion rings; add hot marinade.

3Set aside to cool.

4Refrigerate and marinate at least overnight.
