- 13 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 12 teaspoons salt
- 34 teaspoon sugar
- 12 teaspoon basil
- 6 peppercorns
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 lbs whole mushrooms
Directions

1Simmer all ingredients (except mushrooms) in a covered saucepan about 10 minutes.

2Stir in mushrooms and coat entirely with marinade; cook 5- 8 minutes or until tender.
