  • 34 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 13 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 12 teaspoons salt
  • 34 teaspoon sugar
  • 12 teaspoon basil
  • 6 peppercorns
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 lbs whole mushrooms

Directions

    Simmer all ingredients (except mushrooms) in a covered saucepan about 10 minutes.

    Stir in mushrooms and coat entirely with marinade; cook 5- 8 minutes or until tender.
