  • 2 (8 oz.) cans butter mushrooms or 2 lb. fresh mushrooms
  • 1/2 c. wine vinegar (tarragon)
  • 2/3 c. salad oil
  • 2 tsp. chives
  • 1 tsp. tarragon (dry)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. fresh ground pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 clove garlic, minced

    Place in jar and add marinade to cover. Refrigerate overnight.
