- 1 (5 oz.) bottle soy sauce
- 1/2 c. red wine vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- dash of garlic powder
- dash of onion powder
- 1 to 3 lb. boneless rump or chuck roast
- potatoes
- carrots
Directions

1Combine first 7 ingredients, blending well.

2Place roast in shallow dish and pour marinade over roast.

3Cover.

4Place in refrigerator for 24 hours, turning once.

5Add roast, potatoes, carrots and marinade to baking dish and bake for 2 hours at 350°. Serve with pan drippings.

6You can make gravy with some of the drippings, if desired.
