- 8 c. cabbage, shredded
- 2 Tbsp. chopped pimentos
- 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
- 3/4 c. onion, chopped
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. vinegar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. mustard seed
Directions

1In a large bowl, combine cabbage, pimentos, green pepper and onion.

2Toss lightly.

3Combine remaining ingredients in saucepan; bring to a boil.

4Reduce heat; simmer uncovered for 20-25 minutes or until slightly thickened.

5Pour over cabbage mixture.

6Cover and refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.

7Slaw will keep in refrigerator for several days.

8Yield: 8 - 10 servings.
