- 1 large cabbage
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 3/4 c. Crisco oil
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. vinegar
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1 Tbsp. salt
Directions

1Shred cabbage in a large bowl.

2Place chopped onion and green pepper on top of cabbage.

3Sprinkle sugar evenly on top.

4Bring oil, vinegar, mustard, celery seed and salt to a boil.

5Pour over cabbage while hot.

6Don't stir.

7Refrigerate, covered, at least 4 hours (better if refrigerated overnight).

8Stir mixture and drain before serving.
