Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. Wesson oil
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 1 small can Shoe Peg corn
  • 1 regular can English peas
  • 1 regular can French-style beans
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 small jar pimento
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1 chopped bell pepper

Directions

    Mix sugar, vinegar, salt, Wesson oil and pepper in water in saucepan.

    Bring to boil and boil 3 to 4 minutes; cool.

    Mix in large bowl corn, peas, beans (all drained), pimento, onion, bell pepper and celery.

    Stir in cooled liquid; refrigerate.

    Will keep for days.
