Ingredients

  • 2 cans green beans
  • 1 medium onion, halved and sliced thin
  • 5 ribs celery, sliced thin
  • 1 large green pepper, quartered and sliced thin
  • 1/2 red pepper, sliced or 1 small jar pimentos, drained
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 can peas
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 tsp. celery seed

    Drain green beans and peas.

    Add onion, celery and peppers. Cover with sugar, vinegar, oil, salt, pepper and celery seed. Marinate in refrigerator at least 24 hours.

    Drain and serve.
