Marinated Venison Pot Roast

  • 1 (4 lb.) venison roast
  • 1 c. wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp. whole allspice
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 large onion
  • 1/4 clove garlic
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped green pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped celery
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 3/4 soup can water

Directions

    Combine and bring to a boil wine vinegar, whole allspice, water, sugar, salt, onion and garlic.

    Place roast in glass dish and pour combined ingredients over it.

    Cover and leave overnight in marinade.

    Dry roast off and roll in flour.

    Brown on both sides.
