Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
  • 6 to 8 marshmallows
  • 3/4 tsp. mint extract
  • 3 c. walnut halves

Directions

    Combine sugar, salt, water and syrup in saucepan.

    Cook over moderate heat until syrup forms a small ball when dipped in cool water.

    Remove from heat and add marshmallows and extract.

    Stir until all marshmallows are melted, then add nuts and stir gently until nuts are evenly coated.

    Pour out on cookie sheet and separate with fork.

    Cool and store in tightly covered container. Refrigerate.
