  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water

    Immediately reduce heat and cook over low heat for about 1 hour.

    Mixture should be thick and reddish.

    Place in an even layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

    Brush a sheet of parchment paper with brandy and cover candy.
