- 2 envelopes Knox gelatine
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 1/4 c. water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. nuts (optional)
Directions

1Soak gelatine in half the water.

2Put remaining water and the sugar in saucepan and bring to boil.

3Continue boiling until syrup will string and thread when dropped from tip of spoon.

4When mixture reaches this soft ball stage, pour into mixing bowl and add gelatine.

5Let cool to warm and then add vanilla.
